rsvf is a student-run venture fund with $2m under management, and i wear two hats. as chief of marketing i own the brand, outreach, and our demo day; as an associate i source startups and run early diligence, mostly on consumer companies, to help decide what's worth a closer look.
the fund sees thousands of startups a year, so a lot of the job is building systems and a brand that make 5,000 cold possibilities feel manageable, and that make a student fund look credible to founders deciding whether to take us seriously.
